Sinopse:

O aluno do ensino médio Ito (Shirasu Jin) é um estudante de 17 anos sério e esforçado. Mas também está entediado e se sente insatisfeito. No caminho da escola para casa, Ito costuma fazer uma espécie de jogo, desafiando-se a andar ao longo de uma grande linha branca na estrada. Um dia, enquanto joga seu jogo solitário, depara-se com outro aluno do ensino médio, o ingênuo porém amigável Nishi (Raiku). Ito se apaixona instantaneamente pelos encantos descomplicados de Nishi. A dupla se encontra novamente, mas parece que eles só passam tempo juntos quando estão voltando da escola. Em um ataque de paixão, Ito beija Nishi repentinamente – e fica cheio de alegria ao descobrir que Nishi também tem sentimentos por ele. A história segue os dois garotos enquanto eles passam do final da infância para a vida adulta – e são forçados a enfrentar novos desafios que testam seu amor a cada momento.

1 - 17

Ito Akira, a 17 year old and serious student, meets the innocent Nishi Yuuki on the way home while playing the white line game. Burgeoning feelings result in Ito feeling confused and avoiding Yuuki.

19 years old now, Akira and Yuuki continue to have a good relationship with each other but havent gone beyond their kiss. One day, when Akira tries to further their relationship, Yuuki rejects it. Yuuki, unable to figure out his own future, is beginning to feel envious of Akiras steady moving towards his own goals.

Now 25 years old, Akira and Yuuki are now working and living together. Shiraishi Honoka also begins working at their company. Yuuki invites Akira on a weekend trip and confesses that he wants to quit the company and begin working as a screenwriter.

Akira is now 32. He broke up with Yuuki and married Honoka in search of ordinary happiness but it didnt last long. One day, his sister brings a foreign husband to their parents home and causes trouble. Akira confesses the feelings he has for Yuuki to his mother who refuses to accept his sisters husband. Akira begins to look for Yuuki but three years have passed...
